Ride in a drift car
Drift taxi means exactly what it sounds like: you sit in the passenger seat, one of our drivers takes the wheel, and you get a few laps sideways. No experience, no licence and no car of your own required. We bring the helmet.
How it works
We run drift taxi at events where the team is present — championship rounds, open practice days and meets. There is no permanent booking system and no fixed address: it happens where and when we are racing, so the schedule follows the season.
Where and when
Most often at Klaipėda Autodrome (Ketvergiai), Drift Park Madžiūnai (Trakai district) and KART3 in Katiliškės. Upcoming dates are announced on our Instagram and in the Discord server. If you are planning a trip to Lithuania and want to catch one, just message us — we will tell you what is coming up.
What to expect
- A few laps in the passenger seat of a competition drift car, at real speed and real angle.
- A helmet — we provide one; long trousers and closed shoes are a good idea.
- Noise, tyre smoke and a fairly strong impression. It is louder and more physical than videos suggest.
- Nothing to sign up for in advance in most cases — you find us in the paddock.
Is it safe?
The cars are prepared for competition: harnesses, a proper seat and a fire extinguisher. You wear a helmet and are strapped in the same way the driver is. That said, it is motorsport — if you have back or neck problems, or you are pregnant, this is not for you.
How much
At NKTK events a ride costs 20 € — or nothing at all if you own any piece of NKTK merch (once per person). At third-party events the organiser sets the price.
